Livingstone is a qualified Marketer, Accountant and Barrister at Law with over 20 years’ experience covering mainly the Banking Industry at senior level with in-depth practical understanding of the relevant regulatory, risk and general banking business environment in Ghana.

Has a solid career in legal advocacy, courtroom practice, credit risk management/administration, debt recovery, relationship management, retail banking, operational rigour & control and performance/productivity management from retail and corporate banking as well as FMCG perspectives.

Self-motivated and results-oriented, with over 16 years with Absa (Barclays) Bank Ghana Ltd (Retail Banking and Corporate Credit Depts.) and the rest with (PZ Cussons and Lever Brothers) both FMCGs.

He has effective credit risk management, financial analysis skills, marketing drive backed by strong cost and performance management background. Livingstone holds BL from the Ghana School of Law, LLB, MBA, ACCA, MCIM etc.

KEY PROJECTS AND SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE:

• Currently serving as Legal Practitioner with responsibility for drafting pleadings and documents, courtroom practice, defending complex and protracted cases, negotiations and mediations, training of juniors.
• Served as Corporate Credit Manager with responsibility for managing the Bank’s Corporate Credit Portfolio as a whole for quality and growth under set parameters.
• Served as an invited member of the Bank’s Credit Committee.
• Served as a leading member of Barclays Ghana Limited’s Provisioning and Impairment Committee, Basel Committee etc
• Part time lecturing or teaching.
